Just in case you may wonder what gets a particular rose the special
designation of "Rose of the Month," it's whichever one I have that has a
great bloom and the picture comes out good. That's real scientific isn't
it? They are all beautiful in their own special way and there are too many
for me to cover in my life time.
If you have a special rose you would like to get info on I'll put it out on
the internet and get the info for you if I don't have personal experience
with it.
Hybrid Tea, color class-orange blend, ARS rating 7.4, parentage-Voodoo x (Katherine Loker x Gingersnap), Hybridized by Tom Carruth and introduced in 1996 by Spring Hill Nurseries Co., large flower (26 to 40 petals), upright compact medium (3-4 ft.) growth.
Very interesting vivid color combination, orange-yellow blushing red. My first bloom this year was 5 1/2 inches across. The bush grows well and the flowers hold in a vase.
